Official Start of the National Kankor Exam 1404 AH at the Sar-e-Pul Institute of Higher Education
Today, Thursday, 5th of July 1404 AH, the National Kankor Exam for this year officially began at the Sar-e-Pul Institute of Higher Education. On this occasion, a special gathering was held in the PDC of the institute, which began with the recitation of a few verses from the Holy Quran.
At the opening ceremony, Al-Hajj Maulvi Sayyed Shah “Hamidi”, the general director of the institute, welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of this national process, saying: “We and you are all responsible for performing our duties in this national process in the best possible way. Both participants and administrators must observe the principles and order of the exam and try to start and end the exam at the specified time.”
Then, Maulvi Hedayat-ur-Rahman “Sadaqat”, the teaching deputy of the Sar-e-Pul Provincial Education Department, also gave a short speech. In his speech on education, he emphasized on improving quality rather than focusing on quantity.
At the end of the ceremony, Mr. Shafiullah “Behir”, a professor at the National Examinations Office, also spoke and expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the leadership of the Sar-e-Pul Institute of Higher Education for their continued cooperation. He added: “We and you all must cooperate sincerely for the complete transparency of this national process.”
It is worth mentioning that a total of 782 12th grade graduates, 14th pass students, and religious school graduates will participate in this year’s Kankor exam from Sar-e-Pul province. This nationwide exam will be held by the National Examinations Office today and tomorrow.
